Yuletide

I want to wish everyone a Merry Yule!!! I am cooking a ham for dinner tonight with green beans and mashed potatoes! YUM!!! Our child is only 2, so we don't plan on having a really late celebration.  We will probably hold ours right before or during his bedtime which is 8.  We'll hold the ritual, and afterwards let him open a present! Then it's off to bed. lol Everyone enjoy your yule!!!

Wiccan Children

I am starting to write children books and coloring books for wiccan/pagan kids! I'm so excited doing this but have no idea how to sell them and get them known after i've finished. i was thinking about setting up my own little website and try it that way. plus i have an account on listia so that would help as well. eventually i'd like to evolve it into a metaphysical kind of in house shop.  When we do move, which isn't nessasarilly soon but not too far away either, i want to grow my own herbs and etc. Have a building on my land just for selling my items and such.

wedding dresses

I've been researching what kind of style dresses I like and I have a simple taste. I don't like anything poofy glamorous or fancy. These are some of the dresses I've seen I've liked.

how my family will celebrate yule and christmas

Yule is on Dec21st and Christmas is the 25th of course.  I plan on combining it this year.  My fiance isn't Wiccan but he doesn't really have a peticular religion either.  Both of our families are christian based.  This year I plan on celebrating Yule on the 21st with my fiance and our son.  We will hold a ritual eat food light the yule log each night. etc.  Some pagan traditions celebrate Yule for 12 days.  I don't necessarily like that, so we will celebrate it for 4 days.  Until Christmas day.  Our son Damien will get to open one gift each night and on Christmas morning open the rest.  My fiance's family celebrates Christmas on Christmas eve so this will work perfect.  Damien can open a gift in front of his family.  My family celebrates on Christmas day.  This is one way of combining both traditions fairly for each religion.  I have not "came out of the broom closet" to either family, but once in a while when they come over I have left something related to Wicca out.  They either know and don't mention it, or just think I really like stars! MERRY YULE!!!
